Overview

Implant crowns and bridges can be attached in two main ways: cemented in place, or secured with a small screw through the biting surface. A screw-retained restoration can be removed and re-seated by your dentist for maintenance or repair without having to cut or destroy the restoration, unlike a cemented one.

The screw access hole is filled with a tooth-colored material after fitting, so it isn't visible in normal use.
